EMI Music Publishing
Song School Day 1 - Panelist

As the VP of one of the largest and most successful publishing companies in Nashville, Ben Vaughn manages the creative efforts of writers such as Alan Jackson, Guy Clark, Kelley Lovelace, Tom Shapiro, Shaye Smith and many more. Quite a responsibility for such a young, yet accomplished music industry executive.

Vaughn began his career in the business as many do - enrolling in Belmont University’s music business program. During his freshman year he served an internship at Warner-Chappell Music and by graduation he was working full time with Big Tractor Music.

Vaughn found his true fit when offered a position at EMI from Gary Overton where he started in administration, but has recently risen to the ranks and received the title of VP/Head of A&R
