Ryan Small is a 4th generation Nashvillian who attended the University School of Nashville. He graduated from Tulane University’s A. B. Freeman School of Business in 2000 with a BSM in Management and a minor in Sociology. Ryan began his career at the William Morris Agency as an Agent Trainee. He held several positions at William Morris, beginning in the mailroom, and then progressing through the Agent Training program. He joined Agency for the Performing Arts (APA) as an Agent, and is currently responsible for booking the entire roster into the northeastern United States and eastern Canada. APA represents acts in many different genres: Country, Rock, Classic Rock, AAA/Americana, Jazz, and Oldies.
Prior to completing college, Ryan interned for MCA records and ran a successful summer tour for the Kentucky Headhunters.
Ryan participates in several music industry organizations, including the CMA, ACM, NARAS, NATD, IEBA and SOLID. His community service activities include being a member of the board of the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ), and the Nashville Area Junior Chamber of Commerce (NAJCC),
