Steve Wariner
Artist/Producer
Panelist - Making The Record
With over
30 top-ten hits as an artist (14 of which went all the way
to #1), Steve Wariner knows very well what it’s
like to be a country star. In addition to his success with
smashes like “Holes in the Floor of Heaven,” “Burnin’ the
Roadhouse Down (with Garth Brooks),” “Life’s
Highway,” and “The Weekend,” Steve has penned
hits for many other country greats as well.
Steve wrote “Where the Blacktop Ends” for
Keith Urban, and has had his songs recorded by artists including
Alabama, Clint Black, Diamond Rio, Kenny Rogers, Clay Walker,
and many others!
Steve Wariner’s
mantle is decorated by two Grammys, two CMA Awards, and ACM
award, and a host of other trophies celebrating the achievements
of his two-decades-plus career.
Steve continues
to create great music, recording projects for his Selectone
Records label and writing hit songs. Steve’s
latest project is Alvarado Road Show, a new band signed to Universal
South Records. Steve has recently completed producing the
band’s debut CD, and he’ll be joining us for the “Making
the Record” panel. On the panel, Steve will discuss
the process of selecting songs, then preparing and
recording for a major label album project.
